We have compiled 10 least active dog breeds, these dogs are least energetic, often slow to touch and sleepy. However, they still need to exercise and play, but just not as busy as other dogs.

#1 – English Bulldog

English Bulldog, also known as Bulldog, is a medium-sized dog breed originating in England. The English Bulldog is a short, muscular breed, with loose skin on the head, a snub nose, and small ears. The Pekingese is a breed of toy dog, originating in China. They are also known by other names as “Lion Dog” because they have long fur covering their neck and chest like a lion’s mane. Pekingeses are loyal, affectionate, confident, charming dogs and they also spend a lot of time sleeping.

#4 – Chow Chow

The Chow Chow is an aristocratic dog of Asia, with a look with ruffled fur around the head and neck that makes them look like a lion. The Chow Chow Chow is a dog who likes to be clean, is also quite as fastidious as a cat, and is also easy to destroy furniture, sometimes proved aggressive if not trained. Well-trained Chow Chow will not be fierce or confusing, they are always solemn, and loyal to their relatives, but they are also aloof from strangers. The Chow Chow is a dog that is adaptable and does not need much exercise.

The Tibetan Spaniel, also known as Tibbie, is a small breed originating from Tibet. The Tibetan Spaniel has a short blunt muzzle, free of wrinkles, big expressive eyes, has a mane of hair that covers the neck like a lion’s mane. The Tibetan Spaniel is an intelligent, playful, bright, calm, highly affectionate, but typically aloof with strangers.

#7 – Clumber Spaniel

The Clumber Spaniel is the largest breed of dog of the spaniel type. The Clumber Spaniel has a massive ‘melting’ head with a mournful and dopey expression, a square nose and muzzle, and large vine-leaf shaped ears, freckles on the muzzle and front legs are common. The Clumber Spaniel is mellow, amusing, gentle, loyal, affectionate, calm, but dignified and aloof with strangers.

The Great Dane is a large breed originating from Germany. Great Dane has its regal appearance, strength and elegance with great size and a powerful, well-formed, smoothly muscled body. They are very gentle, friendly, and rarely bark, coupled with an elegant appearance. The Great Dane is a sweet, friendly, affection, gentle and reliable companion, they are also a good guardian, alert for the family.

The Bernese Mountain Dog is a large-sized breed of dog originating from Switzerland. In addition to its large, strong appearance, this breed is better known for its sweet, cute, friendly, sociable, patient personality. The Newfoundland is also very docile, easy to train and love children. However, Newfoundland also shed a lot so they will not be suitable for allergy sufferers.
